3 Keys to Manifesting Your Desire

Does this sound like you? When you first started manifesting you didn’t fully understand it or you didn’t know what you did to create your desired outcome. You manifested haphazardly or part time and couldn’t figure out how to manifest all the time.

Manifesting is intentionally creating or attracting what you want in your life.

If you think about your life you’ve already manifested everything you could have ever wanted. The good things, the challenges and everything in between. You have either consciously or unconsciously manifested without meaning to.

You can manifest anything from a feather to a house to a new job. Manifesting is a power tool available to everyone and all you have to do is learn how to use it.

What Are The 3 Keys To Manifesting?

Once you understand that your thoughts and feelings create your outer world, you can begin to deliberately create the life you want.

The first key:  have clear intent, a clear goal. The challenge is being clear about what you want. Sometimes it’s so hard to make a decision.

Lets say you want to manifest money. Money loves clarity. The more clear you are about your goals the faster the money will flow to you. The first thing you‘ll want to do is pick a dollar amount and a date you want it by. For example it’s the first of the month and you want to make $5,000 by the 30th of the month. Great now you have a clear intent.

One practice you can do for money clarity is to journal about your dream day. Here are some questions you can journal on…

  • What are you doing
  • who are you with
  • what you are eating
  • what are you surrounded by
  • How do you feel throughout the day?

The second key: you’ll want to do is spend some time visualizing yourself with your desire and put feeling in it. Visualize it as if you already have it. Create a feeling of having it by aligning your thoughts, words, and actions to your desired outcome.

The more you can visualize your dream life becoming a reality, the clear you will be about what you want and don’t want in your life.

Set time aside each day to tap into the emotion of having the money you want. As you feel the energy run through your body, you become a magnet to the right situations, opportunities and the right people.

The last part of manifesting and this is important because most people leave this part out when they manifest. In order to get what you want you MUST take action.

Part of manifesting is creating the belief that you have the ability to set a goal and achieve it. After you set the goal, then you create a plan to get there. Be patience. Let it all unfold however it unfolds and know it is all coming to you!

What stops or blocks you is when you start focusing on how you don’t have the thing you want yet. If you focus on that, you guessed it—you are magnetizing a reality where you don’t have it, because that is where your focus is. The goal is to focus on how you feel when you receive your desired outcome.

Are You Happy with Your Life? If Not Here’s A Way to Shift it

A belief is the acceptance by the mind that something is true or real. Often it is created by an emotional or traumatic event. When we have a core belief we have a sense of certainty around it, because we know it’s true for us.

Science has been focusing on the central nervous system, the immune system and their interrelationship. Science once thought that they brain sent information one way to respond to the body’s problem. Now it is clear that the central nervous system controls the body’s defense mechanisms.  Knowing this, we can assume that every thought, emotion, ideal or belief has a neurochemical consequence.

Research has found a chemical link between our emotions, the stress in our lives and the immune system.

We all know it’s important to express our emotions, but we don’t always do it. We shove them down, gunny sack them, avoid them, distract ourselves from feeling. When strong emotions such as fear, anger, or rage are not expressed in a healthy way. Then the body’s natural response is to produce an excess of epinephrine.  Storing these stressful emotions produce a chemical breakdown, resulting in a weakening immune system and an increase for disease.

I had to learn this the hard way. When I had cancer I wanted to know why I got it. The doctors said, “Oh it’s just something that happens.” I disagreed. I felt there was a cause. What I learned was the anger and resentment I shoved down started eating away at my body causing a disease called cancer.

This is why it is so important to clean up old emotions that are no longer serving you. Not only is it helping you, but it cleans up your ancestor’s lineage and the future lineage. Another thing I came to learn and understand is that when you die your soul leaves the body, but so does your aura. This is where all your emotions and experiences are stored. If you belief in life after death. Those emotions and experiences follow you forward.

We can safely say that our thoughts, words, emotions and the physical body are all linked together. A belief system is strong enough to send a message to the body. In turn, the physical body reacts to the emotional belief system. The key is to change the messages that are sent to the body and to do that we have to change our beliefs and emotions.

The conscious mind can program the subconscious mind for new behavior and habits. This ability is built into us, but we forget that we have it.

Belief work means changing the pattern and the behavior. It gives us the ability to change the belief that goes beyond the subconscious and into the cells of the body. I practiced feeling my anger and breathing through it, which released the stored anger at the cellular level. It took patience and practice. Today I feel calm and peaceful. All the anger and resentment has left my body.

3 Secrets to a Prosperity Mindset

Do you think money is easy to come by or do you think money is hard to get? Do you belief you deserve to have money flowing in from all the things you do or do you only get paid for certain things you do? Do you believe you have to struggle and work hard for your money?

If you are like most people, you have some type of block that keeps money from flowing into your life or business.

Let’s talk about the 3 Secrets to A Prosperity Mindset. While you are going through these 3 secrets, open your heart and be compassionate with yourself. Remember we are just learning and practicing. Ok great, let’s get started…

Secret #1: Is to Identify Your Current Prosperity Mindset.

Your mind has positive ideas about money, prosperity and abundance. You mind also has negative ideas about money, prosperity and abundance.  I am inviting you to think about the negative ideas about money, prosperity and abundance.

A prosperity mindset is how you think and feel about money. Why is this important? It’s important because it’s how you look at prosperity with a certain point of view, values and worth that determine how much wealth, abundance and prosperity you’ll allow yourself to have.

What is a mindset and why is it important? According to dictionary.com Mindset means:  the ideas and attitudes with which a person approaches a situation.

Another way to look at mindset is that it’s a set of beliefs about yourself and your most basic qualities such as your intelligence, your talents and your personality.

Ask Yourself This Questions:

  • If I allow money in, what negative consequences I will have to deal with?
    • Is there a belief that someone will take your money from you?
    • Is there a belief that you will lose it or fail?
    • Will you be judge by your family or not belong.
    • What is your deep hidden concern?

Did you discover that there are some thoughts and feelings that might be stopping your from allow money, prosperity and abundance in? You may want to spend some time to listen to yourself talk about money to uncover what your negative beliefs are.

If the money is not flowing in, there is a part of your mind saying ‘no’ to it. The next step is get your mind to say yes. When you can get the yes inside of you. Then you can hear “yes” out in the world.

Secret #2 Create New Beliefs About Prosperity.
Now I Invite You To Answer These Two Questions:

  • What new belief do I want to have that would make it easy to allow money in?
  • What new belief do I want to have that would make it easy and fun to be a prosperous person?

For me the one I use it that I am open to receive all my good or money flows to me from many income streams. Then, I practice feeling prosperous.

The key is to choose a new beliefs that resonates with you and supports your ability to allow in money and wealth. The next step is to observe your mind and live prosperous, which brings us to…

Secret #3 Reinforce Your New Beliefs.

Your mind is your most powerful piece of success equipment. The key is to pay attention to your language and when you notice you are talking negative about money, switch to something positive right away.

This simple exercise stop, drop and roll helps you shift any negative thoughts or feelings about money or judgments about yourself or anything that you know, is NOT a prosperity mindset.

Say “Stop” (out loud or silently to yourself) that’s the old mindset.  “Drop” (drop that thought immediately). “Switch” (Switch out the new belief) The truth is…” start saying your new beliefs that you wrote in the Secret #2 section and keep focusing on it until you feel good and excited about money and prosperity. By practicing this it will help shift your mindset so that you feel powerful and confident around money and prosperity.

Now if you are having a really hard time with your mind chatter or limiting beliefs. I would love to help you unlock your prosperity from the inside.

Manifesting Your Desires

Did you know your relationship with money reflects more about your thoughts, beliefs and feelings then it does about the world of finances?

How do you think about money? What are some of your beliefs?

Wealth, prosperity and success start first in your thoughts and then it appears in your outer world. Prosperity is more than just money. It’s a way of being.

True prosperity means more than just having an abundance of money. It’s having confidence, harmonious relationship, peace of mind and happiness.

Prosperity is having health, vitality, loving relationships, joyful work that you love and ease in your life. Where you live a happy and stress free life.

If you were living the lifestyle of your dreams what would that look like? I invite you to spend some time journaling on that question after the show.

The word prosperity comes from the Latin root which literally translates as, “according to hope” or “to go forward hopefully.”

Prosperity isn’t something that you acquire. It’s an attitude towards life. It is having a certain way of thinking and living which we will cover on the many upcoming podcast. Be sure to subscribe so you will learn the latest.

True prosperity is a shift in one’s consciousness. Simply stated its cause and effect. Prosperity is the cause within one’s mind and money is the effect of the shift within ones consciousness. When we learn to think a certain way we automatically attract prosperity.

Let me share with you how this worked in my life.

The 1st time I realized I could shift my consciousness was when I was 16 years old. I was living in San Diego and bathing suit season was just around the corner and I wanted a new bathing suit. I flipped through the latest bathing suit catalog looking for the right suit. I finally found one I loved. I ripped the page out of the catalog and taped it to me bedroom wall. The picture was the last thing I looked at as I drifted off to sleep and the first thing I saw in the morning. Finally the day arrived where I went shopping. I spent all day at the mall, but I couldn’t find a bathing suit I liked.

As I was leaving the mall I saw K-mart across the street. My intuition said, “Go to K-Mart” so I did and I found a beautiful bathing suit. When I got home I laid the bathing suit on my bed and looked at the picture hanging on the wall. It was the same identical bathing suit. I wondered, “How did I do that?” That was the beginning of my manifestation.

If you want to manifest something special into your life than I invite you to take this action.

Action step

I’m curious, what do you want in your life? Spend some time thinking about your desires. If you were living the lifestyle of your dreams what would that look like? I invite you to spend some time journaling on that question.

Write down all your desires, make a list of them. Then rate what you wrote from 1 to 3. Ones are very important, twos are could happen and threes doesn’t matter.

After you have rated your list look at all the 1 on your list. Now you are going to rerate them from 1 to 3 again to weed out the ones that are not very important. Look at the ones you have left.

Ask yourself which is the most important that if I didn’t do it. I would feel like I wasn’t fulfilling my purpose. That’s the one you want to start working on right away.

Leave a comment and let me know what you choose to manifest.

5 Steps to Turn Worry Around

Worrying about money has been so ingrained in our culture today that it has literally become an epidemic. We are not only worrying over money, we talk about it with our friends. We toss and turn all night thinking about it. We spend our energy thinking about the worst case scenario and all possible negative outcomes of the situation. It’s top of mind. All this worrying has gotten you nowhere, but you can turn this all around by changing the way you think and change what you are doing.

Here are some steps to help you.

  1. Change Your Focus

When I am super stressed and worrying about my finances I ask myself, “What am I focused on?” Usually I notice I’m really in a negative state of mind, so I ask myself, “Do I want more of this?” Usually the answer is no. See when you are focused on a negative emotion such as worry, you are creating more of what you don’t want into your life.  The key is to notice it and turn it around.

  1. Get a Mantra or Song

The reason you want a mantra or song is to help shift the energy. When you say your mantra or sing your song your energy shift and raises to a higher level. The more positive energy you tell yourself, the more you will believe and embody it. One way to do this is with a mantra, which is a positive sentence you repeat to yourself every time you begin to worry. Mine is “God is my source.” This reminds me that when I align to the energy of abundance it comes to me from many different streams of income. That I’m in control of my life and I’m choosing the experience I’m having in this moment. Do I want the experience to be pleasant full of trust and faith or stress and worry? To remind myself to say my mantra I painted a small palm tree on a sandy beach on a 3 x5 card and post it in my kitchen window.  You could write yours on a 3×5 card with color markers and put it somewhere you’ll see it often, such as your bathroom mirror, in your car or on your computer monitor.

Create a fun song to sing. When I drive I sing my song. You can make something up on the fly or think about your song and write it down so that you remember it. My song goes like this…Thank you for this day Spirit. Thank you for this day. This wonderful day, this wonderful day. Thank you for my clients Spirit. Thank you for my clients. My wonderful clients, my wonderful clients. Thank you Spirit for the opportunities to make money today.  The wonderful opportunities, the wonderful opportunities. Thank you for this day Spirit. Thank you for this day. This wonderful day, this wonderful day.

The key here is to feel good when you sing your song. You could sing it in the shower, in the car or at night when you’re getting ready for bed.

  1. Go into Gratitude

Gratitude is a higher vibration and it’s harder to focus on the negatives in life, when one is being grateful. One way to do this is to write down five positive things that happened during your day. You’ll want to do this every evening before bed for at least two weeks. In the morning when you wake up write five things that you are grateful. This will help to shift your focus and If you create an awareness of what you’re thankful for. When you have an attitude of gratitude you will naturally be more positive and can better tackle any problem with easy.

  1. Know Where You Stand

Set aside some time weekly to check your bank account and discuss your finances with your partner. Then, you don’t have to worry the rest of the week, because you know where you stand and you have deal with things.

If you don’t already one now is a good time to create a budget. A budget can serve as a real eye-opener to what you are spending your money on and it will afford you greater control over your spending habits. It will also help with the fear-of-the-unknown by giving you a firm grasp on your financial situation rather than wondering.

I taught this system to my son who is living on his own going to college and he has taught the same method to his friends. For one month or two you want to track everything you spend. First, whenever you spend money get a receipt. Second, put all your receipts in a certain spot or bowl. Third, once a week enter all your receipts onto a spread sheet.  The categories are groceries, gas, restaurant, clothes and your big bills like PG&E, mortgage or rent, internet, tv, phone. If you have bills you pay every six months or yearly you will want to take that bill and divide it by the months so you’ll know how much to save for that bill, such as DMV, insurance, taxes. By doing this you now know exactly how much you need every month to pay your bills.

  1. Build An Emergency Fund

Did you know that most people do not have a thousand dollars in their savings account? This emergency fund is in case anything unexpected happens, like having to replace your water heater. One way you can start this emergency fund is by paying the minimum on your credit cards for a few months. Another way is to cut out the luxury items. The things you don’t really need, like the morning coffee at Starbuck or the restaurants at lunch. Instead you could make your own coffee and lunch. Make it a game to see how much you can save in a month.

Inclusion, worrying is a bad habit that can be difficult to break. You may have learned to worry from your parents or to stay on top of your finances. It could be as simply as you didn’t know where all your money is goes. Now if you follow the steps above you’ll become a non-worrier with a happier attitude about life.

You’ll be able to look at your life with ease, happiness and envision what it would be like to live without the worry. Get motivated and use the tips above to see what you can change.

Are you stressed, worried or full of anxiety about your finances?  I know how you feel. I’ve been there with my mind is racing and I can’t turn it off, waking up in panic attacks. Set Yourself Up for Success With These Easy 6 Steps

To me this is a magical time of year, as I can start fresh. This time of year is about reflecting on what has been and what you want to accomplish in the next year. To freely listen from your heart and be open to what you will receive in the New Year. You never know what surprises the Universe has in store for you.

Winter is the perfect time of year to look back over the year and celebrate all of your accomplishment. Just before the New Year a friend and I get together and review our goals from the previous year. I am always amazed at what I accomplished. I pick one hairy goal that scares me, so I can stretch and grow into it. A few years back my hairy goal was to learn podcasting and look at me today. I’m going on my third year and I love it. What I enjoy the most when I interview a guest is that I get to learn new things or look at the topic with new insight.

Here are the steps my friend and I do every year. We set our big goals that we want to accomplish and one scary goal for the year. Then we set our First quarterly goals and from that we set our first monthly goal and from that we decide what our goals are for the week. I think why it works so well for us is that we check in with each other once a week to see what was accomplished that week.

Last year in the second quarter I was dating someone who I felt wasn’t cherishing and respecting me. He kept canceling or had to work or his daughter had some problem. So I wrote in my relationship goal I was to be respected, cherished and honored. What was funny is that the ink disappeared only from that goal and so did he. I think it was a sign for the Universe that the relationship was disappearing. My friend teased me that I wrote my goal in disappearing ink. We had a good laugh over it.

The question to ask yourself is what is one thing you want to accomplish is each area of your life. The categories we use are business, health, fun and sometimes relationship. We have been doing this for over six years now. In the beginning we picked a lot more categories, but have learned over the years less is best. Especially if we want to accomplish our goals. If you are good in one area my advice is not to set a goal around it. For me I’m strong in spirituality. I mediate every morning and do my inner work, therefore I don’t need to set a goal around this, because I already do it. But if you are weak in this area set a simple goal. For relationship I choose to be kind to myself, as in this moment I’m not in a relationship. When I am kind to myself I am happier and that reflects to others. I practice smiling to others and talking to people I meet. When I hear things like, you brightened my day or I’m so glad you came in today, you made my day.  Then I know its working.

Making a goal is very important in trying to create what you want in your life. Just thinking about the goal or the outcome is not enough. Many experts such as Tony Robbins, Terry Cole-Whittaker, Brian Tracey, Deepak Chopra, and many others have written about the power of writing down our goals.

Charles Schwab did this exercise to build his multi-million-dollar business. Every night before he would go to bed, he would write out the 6 most important things to do to move towards his goal. He would do those 6 things first. If he did not complete all 6, he would then take the remaining actions and put them to the next day. So if one day he only accomplished 4, he would then take the remaining 2 and make that a priority for the next day.

Here are four important questions to ask yourself:                                                                               What are the steps that I need to take to achieve my goal?
Why do I want to achieve this goal?
What needs to be released?
What do I need to let go of that is no longer working for me?

The first question: “What are the steps that I need to take to achieve my goal?” These steps will turn into your action plan. For example: your goal is to save $1,200 dollars this year. Your current reality is that you have no savings. Your goal then would to save $100 a month and at the end of the year you’ll have saved the $1,200 dollars.

Taking the action is the most important part of the goal. You need to move toward the goal and get started. The steps are what it will take to succeed. Without the steps you have a goal that most likely will not be achieved. What will motivate you to take the steps is your “Why”

Which leads us to the second question, “Why do I want to achieve this goal?” Your “Why” will fuel your determination to complete it.  Another way of thinking of your “Why” is, what feelings do you need to have to achieve your goals? The feeling or the why needs to be your main focus. This will move you forward into taking the steps to achieving your goals.

For example:                                                                                                                                            Why: I’ll feel good that I now have a savings. Once you become really clear about what is going to keep you determined, and why you are motivated to move towards the goal, you need to ask the third question. “What do I need to release?” Think of the spectrum of where the goal is and where you are currently, as a road. Put in even more simple terms, point A to point B. What is in the road that will disguise itself as roadblocks?

This could be other people, it could be your own limiting thoughts, it could be fears, or it could be your own beliefs. Maybe you have a belief that you couldn’t possibly ever be able to save a $100 dollars a month or maybe you feel you don’t deserve it. Now’s the time to get really clear about what has stopped you in the past, and what has potential from stopping you now. If you become conscious of the roadblocks, and have clarity that they are there, you can release or avoid them. Example of a roadblocks: Going out to lunch or dinner when you could make a lunch or cook. Buying stuff that you don’t really need.

6 Goal Setting Steps
The following guidelines will help you to set effective goals:

  • Be clear: Set a goal and set a date, so that you can measure your achievement. If you do this then, you’ll know exactly when you have reached the goal and have satisfaction from having achieved it. This really helps me as I know every Monday I have to be accountable for what I said I’ll do. There are many Sunday nights I’m finishing my ‘to do’ list.
  • Set priorities: When you have several goals, give each a priority. This helps you to avoid feeling overwhelmed by too many goals and helps to direct your attention to the most important ones.
  • Write goals down: This makes them real and gives them more force.
  • Keep goals small: Keep the low-level goals you are working towards small and achievable. If a goal is too large, then it can seem that you are not making progress towards it.
  • Set performance goals, not outcome goals: You should set goals that you have as much control as possible. If you base your goals on personal performance, then you can keep control over the achievement of your goals and draw satisfaction from them.
  • Set realistic goals: It is important to set goals that you can achieve. You may set goals that are too high, because you may not understand how much skill you need to develop to achieve a particular level of performance. I learned this the hard way by doing an online program. I had to learn click funnels in order to put the program online.

When you have achieved a goal, take the time to enjoy the satisfaction of having done so. Stop and observe the progress you have made towards your goals. If the goal was a significant one, reward yourself appropriately. All of this helps you build the self-confidence you deserve.

What is the one thing you’d like to accomplish this year? Follow the steps we just went over and you to will be successful in achieving your goals.

Waiting For Things To Be Just Right

Do you have a message within you that you keep working on trying to get it perfect before you get it out to the world? Are you full of great ideas and jump from one project to another never finishing anything? Either way there is something that is showing up keeping you from your vision.

There may be a voice in your head that is causing this problem and you may not even be aware of it. Do you ever think to yourself, “This isn’t going to turn out?” “No one will want to buy this”. “I tried this before and it didn’t work.” You might have different thoughts that swirl around in your head. Why are you listening to the fears?

People who are successful have learned how to understand the thoughts in their head and move past them. They don’t let themselves stop with procrastination, confusion worry or doubt.  They talk back to those thoughts and take fast action, meaning they get it done. If you are the type of person who is waiting for it to be perfect, then today let it be good enough, it is good enough to make the first pass.  You have to step out of your comfort zone and stop procrastinating. Decide today and put it out there. Then you can tweak it later.

If, you are the type of person who starts a project and never finishes this tip will help you.  Just for today work on one project to see how far you can get on it. If you are stuck, find away to get help, but keep moving.  Tomorrow look at the project and decide if you are going to finish it or not. It is about learning to discipline yourself to finishing it. It’s about building a new muscle.  I know you can do it.

There Are No Ordinary Moments

The other day I was in the grocery store. After spending about an hour of shopping I header to the checkout station. As I stood in the checkout line I observed a man franticly moving through the store. He seemed to be stressed or in a hurry and looked a little out of sorts, as he grabbed a soda from the cold case. Then he got in line behind me. My cart was full and he only had a soda and a bag of chips, so I asked him if he would like to go ahead of me. He was happy with that idea and moved in front of me.

I watched the checker ring him up and then grab her clear plastic Starbucks water cup with a lid and straw. She was rubbing her hands on the droplets of water left from the melted ice. She looked at me and started to tell me how her hands hurt. They were chapped and she needed lotion. I reached into my purse and pulled out a small travel size lotion and gave it to her. The man who was now paying for his soda and chips said, “Wow! You’re just full of kindness today.” “Are you trying to get brownie points for your halo?”

I just smiled back at him and thought to myself, “My halo is already full.” Then I pictured a beautiful, round, golden halo above my head. The man must have subconsciously seen my full halo glowing, because he did a double take. He kept starting at the top of my head. It was if he couldn’t take his eyes off the top of my head. I noticed the more he looked at the halo the lighter his energy got. Where his energy was once an ash color his energy was now becoming brighter. Then he started to relax and he even smiled, as a peacefulness settled over him.

The checker chirped in chatting on how appreciative she was that I gave her lotion and what a live saver I was, as she rubbed her hands together with the smooth, soft white lotion. I noticed her eyes now twinkled with delight whereas before they were dark and hollow. I also observed the woman behind me was now smiling at what transpired, instead of being impatient. It seemed that this section of the store became brighter and the people seemed happier.

The learning: When you are peaceful and calm you can observe others better. If you are able to help them, it comes from your heart with no strings attached. It’s my hope that when I help a person that they will pass it on, which will touch another life. You’ll never know how many lives you can touch by helping one person. If the gift isn’t passed along, then I lighten someone that day and helped them to remember who they really are. A spiritual being in a human body. How are you going to help someone today?

How Do You Decide? There Are Infinite Possibilities

There are infinite possibilities in little beginnings, if you have the faith, you’ve got the power to move ahead in your life. If you look at any famous actor, they started at the bottom being a dishwasher or a waiter. They did odd acting jobs here and there until they got a break. But, they still weren’t famous yet. They had to act in a few low budget films or “B” rated films until, they got that big roll that made them famous. They went through the steps on how to be a good actor. Learning what worked and what didn’t work, all the while holding onto their dream of being famous. Having faith it will all work out.

There are many roads in life and different paths you may take to create your life. These roads are like different movies playing in your life. Is your life playing the way you want it to? Is your life full of joy and happiness or is it full of struggle and sorrow? Once you realize that your thoughts are creating or blocking you from having the life you want. You can change it.

Think of your life like several movies playing all at once. There is the beautiful movie that inspires you and it is peaceful. When you are done watching the film you are empowered and you feel good about life. Another type of movie is the mediocre, ordinary, tolerable low budget “B” rated film. Then, there’s the comedy, where the charters are getting into and out of one jam after another as you laugh at all the errors they make in their life. Last, but not least there is the movie filled of tragedies. It is full of heavy heartache and every kind of drama or problem imaginable.

What type of movie is your life playing right now? Are you ready to change the film? Which movie do you want to play and experience? Your life, like the movie is chosen by the thoughts that you are thinking and you decide what you want to think.

Let’s say you want to change your film and start a new project. What’s stopping you from starting your project? What’s the thing you keep putting off?  Is it fear of failure, not knowing how to do it or maybe you’re afraid of doing it wrong or making a mistake? These things keep us from starting our projects. But, once you start your project your half done, as the beginning sometimes is the hardest to do. Look around; there are opportunities all around you. All you have to do is open your eyes to them and decide which one you want to do. Make a plan and go for it.

Life is a series of adventures and it is your reaction to what’s going on around you that makes it easy or hard. If you look at everything as a lesson to help you grow and further your progress, then the path is easier, as you know you will get through it. You now have possibility thinking, instead of thinking I can’t do this, you are thinking about ways you can do it.

Look at every hard time you have as a stepping stone to better your life which prepares you for the next step. Within the hard time there is always something that we need to know or a challenge which makes us becomes a better person. When you are going through these hard times talk to yourself with encouragement, and supportive words not put downs. Be kind to yourself. Look at it as times of development, not hard times. Don’t give up on yourself, because you’ll stay the same and not learn or grow into the person you were meant to be. Be patient with yourself and realize that you need time to develop into the great person you were meant to be. Know that you have what it takes and that you can do it!

3 Indicators To Tell If You Are Off Course

Have you ever felt like you are going to wrong direction? Maybe you might have felt like your spinning your wheels going nowhere fast. I’m sure you have, as I have. I’m pretty sure everybody has felt this way one time or another.

One day I had the experience of coming up to two stop signs where the street names were the same. It was a new place for me and I wasn’t sure where to go, so I went straight up the hill. I felt lost and started seeing bars on the windows, then I passed the railroad tracks. Fear settled in and I turned around and headed back the way I came. Once again I was back where I started at the stop sign. This time I went right and found my location. What I learned from that is that my inner guidance was telling me I was off course. If you feel you are off course here are 3 steps that may help you.

Here are 3 key indicators to tell if you are off course

Step 1: Resist letting go.

When you are resist letting go you are hanging on to what you knew, thinking it can work out. This appears in relationships, jobs, a style of being or thinking. You are not willing to let go of the situation. You are attached to it, stuck, holding on for dear life. Your identity is caught up in the situation and you are not willing to let it go for something better. You are afraid to change. The key to know here is that the more painful it becomes, is a sign that you are not in alignment. It’s time to let go and move on. Where in your life are you resisting change or letting go?

Step 2: You are not exercising your no muscle.

Your no muscle has two parts. The first part is a knowing and the second part is the word no. When you have a knowing as in, I just know this is what I am meant to do. You are in alignment with your inner compass and life just seems to flow. It is easy, as you are going in the right direction.

The second no is your word no. Did you know that no is a complete sentence? The world is always giving you opportunities to say yes or no. If you are not feeling excited with tingles all over your body and feel alive, then you need to exercise your no muscle. By say no to some of the opportunities you are given. You are now opening yourself up for something that is bigger and better.  The key is to say no to those things do not bring you joy. The opportunity may seem logically and makes sense, but if you are not feeling it in your body, then the answer is a no.

Step 3: Failure to grow.

This is where you stop learning and trying new things. It’s like you are stuck in a rut. You go out to the same restaurant. You drive the same way every time. You do the same thing day in and day out with nothing new coming into your life.

The good news is once you are aware that you are off course it’s easy to get back on track. You could practice letting go of something such as an item in your house. You could practice telling someone no when you normally say yes to something you really don’t want to do it. You could take a class, drive a different way or even try a new restaurant.

With these three steps you can now tell when you are off course. Give them a try and practice noticing when resistance show up. Remember to exercise your no muscle and stretch yourself to learn something new.
